American country music star Garth Brooks took to the stage at Dublin's Croke Park to a standing ovation from his loyal fans as he kicked off his much-anticipated series of concerts in the city.

The music legend, who wore black Stetson and jeans, broke down in tears when he told the audience that he took to the stage for one reason and it was to "stir up the hell."

“He told me it would be like this all night,” he said, adding that he just wanted to “enjoy the moment.”
