Might and Magic X Legacy, there's a lot to unpack here. Originally released in 2014 as a long awaited sequel to the Might & Magic series. It drew inspiration from the older entries in the series rather than the open world, early 3d entries of 6-9, returning to grid based movement & combat, despite using a relatively modern 3D engine. The game released to mixed results, feeling rushed and unfinished, with a host of bugs, and of course offering paid DLC practically on launch.

The game still has some charm, and despite its flaws does have some redeeming qualities, although perhaps that's the nostalgia speaking. For this adventure we'll be limiting ourselves to using one of each of the 4 mage type classes, with no melee units, and playing on the "hard" difficulty setting. Prepare for some Magic, sparks will fly, tears will be shed, darkness will fall, but can Blue survive it all?
