Several years ago I released an E.P. "If I Were Garth Brooks" ... and thanks to Suno, I have actual demos of the songs now (not me singing).

I was thinking about all the songs I've written - and I've written songs with Grammy winners, Dove Award winners, # 1 writers, and even guys in the Songwriter Hall of Fame - but I was thinking about that period in my life where I was writing songs while having Garth Brooks in mind. Now, it's not like Garth would EVER cut one of my songs, but in the 'old' Nashville days, it wasn't uncommon that an artist would cut an ENTIRE album of a songwriters songs ... For 7 years I was told Garth and Trisha were cutting a song of mine by a music publisher but it never happened (that song didn't make this EP - even suno can't do a very good duet yet) ... Anyhow ... the great Doug Cook, David L. Graham, and Josiah Blount co-wrote some of these songs with me.

For whatever reason, I just wanted to share them with you ... and maybe even Garth (because I know he's never heard them, else, he would have cut them himself, obviously)
