Genre: Country. One of the great Bluesy Country songs was written in 1961 by Willie Nelson - famously he once offered the rights to the song for $10 because he was experiencing very tough times - before Patsy Cline turned it into an all-time Country favourite! Willie could certainly write a great song! And perform it Live brilliantly as well! He is still alive at the time of this recording, aged 92. In 2024, Rolling Stone ranked the song at number three on its 200 Greatest Country Songs of All Time ranking. I have used his original key & tempo but changed key twice instead of once - and
used Strings & Organ sounds with Piano to add an 1960's Easy-listening Orchestral sound!
