Based on "Drunken Sailor", a traditional maritime song, and the only one that is reportedly still actively sung by sailors in the US Navy as recently as the 1960's. Jean-Jacques and Sovay's dad says he remembers it from then, and that it is the only one that he remembers anyone singing. We dedicate this song to him.

This song drops a lot of references to the other songs on our album, as well as to other prominent highwaymen and the songs about them. Anyone who manages to explain them to us in a message through our website gets mad love and respect, and probably fun prizes??? (We'll think of something!...don't message us here though; we'll never see it.)
