Elvis attended the 950th Grand Ole Opry Christmas Show.
He was photographed with
Faron Young and his wife at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
The Original Opry House.

and many others.
Elvis visited backstage in a rented tuxedo
but didn't perform,
instead appearing on stage to wave to the enthusiastic audience,
a symbolic moment of his superstar status at the Opry.
