Amazed, that's clearly what we felt in the ending of Far Cry 5, where various nonsensical things conveyed by the main antagonist - Joseph Seed are a reality. Where the end of the world that he had predicted ended up becoming real, and it was all because of the action of the nameless protagonist that we use in the series. In Far Cry New Dawn, you will be transported 17 years after the nuclear disaster that hit Hope County at the end of Far Cry 5.

After the destruction of the world, within 17 years, Hope County underwent significant changes. Instead of becoming a world that is barren, dry, & full of radiation, the city is actually reborn as a beautiful place like a garden of Eden, just like what Joseph Seed said. The super bloom effect that occurred after the destruction caused the world to be covered with a variety of beautiful colorful plants, this incident also pushed the evolution of animals to be very short. In this new world, the survivors of Hope County rebuild what was destroyed. Slowly, the destruction that hit found a bright spot, where behind it all, the people of Hope County still have hope and a second chance to build their new life again behind the ruins. A small number of them made a small settlement nicknamed "The Prosperity", where the settlement became a place of shelter and a place to work together to build a more decent life.

But everything didn't go smoothly, after the absence of Joseph Seed, Hope County is now in the hands of the two new antagonists - Mickey & Lou. The two twin antagonists nicknamed "The Twin" lead a group of barbarian troops called the Highwaymen, where their only ambition is to rule Hope County by force and apply violence as a currency. What The Twins did certainly made the residents of The Prosperity feel threatened and oppressed. Feeling hopeless, Carmina Rye – the daughter of Nick Rye (one of our partners in the previous game) tries to find help through Thomas Rush & you as a nameless protagonist nicknamed "The Security Captain". The help from these two figures still cannot be said to be sufficient, to gather strength you will seek additional alliances through "New Eden". A new group founded by Joseph Seed after the destruction of the world and the death of his family & followers in the previous series.
