After a heavy assault led by Lou and Mickey, Prosperity is on the verge of falling to ruin. Out of options, Rush has the idea to seek help from New Eden which is immediately frowned upon by Kim Rye due to what the Seed family did to her family. The past can open wounds as deeply as iron but after 17 years, what has happened to the Deputy and Joseph who have been locked in a bunker for so long? While it is true to assume that the Deputy must have changed due to all they have done and the end result not matching what they desired, the same can easily be said about Joseph.
What has happened to them? And what will happen to Hope County? The Highwayman are being pushed to the brink by New Eden and Prosperity, but an animal when pressed to a corner, is usually at its most dangerous.
