“Tyrone Shoelaces” turned 70 about a month ago. When considering what our daughter gift could be for such a momentous occasion, seeing the LEGEND, Garth Brooks, during his impeccably timed mini-month long residency came up… and since seeing Garth was on Theresa’s bucket list, we HAD to make it happen. Babysitters, help from the hubbies, bring your daughter to work day… we coordinated EVERYTHING to have ALLLLL our responsibilities covered, to squeeze in a ONCE in a LIFETIME trip! I cried during Friends in Low Places… cause it was the only song I truly knew of Garth’s… and the moment he played it… the energy was sooooo ELECTRIC from a crowd of soooo many of his biggest fans… I couldn’t help but become overwhelmed with emotions at the happiness this man’s journey has brought to SOOOO MANY people’s lives! I can only hope to do the same…. on a smaller scale… and mainly to 4-5 year olds… but hey… if the boot fits…. Wear it! What an INCREDIBLE weekend! HBD Vegas Ty! #thisis70
