October 22, 2000. Fast-moving grass fire races toward rural Oklahoma home. Ryan Cooper, 14, and Randall Cooper, 10, home alone during break. Someone pounds on door of their wooden Collinsville house. Randall screams warning but Ryan's in shower. Suddenly Garth Brooks yells up stairs: "Ryan, Ryan! Get in the truck!" Boys stunned — country superstar evacuating them. "Fire came like bullet," Randall said. "Flames higher than house." Firefighters arrived just in time, saved house — burn marks stopped 2 feet from foundation. Heroes come in unexpected forms, sometimes wearing cowboy hats.
