As we celebrate Black History Month, we honor the talent and contributions of the Florida Highwaymen. The Highwaymen were a group of African-American artists who sold their paintings by the side of the road during the years of Jim Crow segregation in the South because they weren't allowed to do business in so-called 'white' galleries. Sadly, we recently lost two of the 26 Florida Highwaymen, with only two remaining alive today. Here's a look at their lives and legacies.
