The 39th and final episode of Rainbow Quest, Pete Seeger hosts June Carter and Johnny Cash on 14th June 1966, they talk about the original carter family, for many years this footage was not seen as Pete was not happy about how people might see Johnny as he was on alcohol and drugs at the time, this was the start of June and Johnny's relationship, mother Maybelle would not allow him to marry June till he sorted himself out and with Maybelle's help and others he did just that and they got married 2 years later, this was also around the time Sara Carter came out of retirement thanks to the push from Johnny Cash and she agreed to record an album with Maybelle on 16th June 1966 and even promote it on tv and also at the Newport Folk Festival.
