Willie Hugh Nelson is a singer, guitarist, actor and songwriter. Willie Nelson was born on 29th April, 1933 to Ira Doyle Nelson and Myrle Marie. His mother left soon after he was born. His father remarried and also moved away, leaving Nelson and his sister Bobbie to be raised by their grandparents, who taught singing back in Arkansas. Nelson's grandfather bought him a guitar when he was six, and taught him a few chords.

The first song Nelson ever learned was "Amazing Grace." Nelson wrote his first song at age seven and joined his first band at ten. On concluding his High school, he joined the U.S. Air Force but was later discharged due to back problems. This did not stop Nelson from living his dream, he enrolled at Baylor University but later dropped off due to excelling in Music. In 1990, Nelson faced a financial crisis here his assets were to be seized by the Internal revenue service as he had a debt of $32 million in taxes.

This issue escalated due to the weak investments he had made in 1980s. A key lesson that we should invest in assets that will stand the test of time and economic turmoil. Willie Nelson made a move in 1992 and released ‘The IRS Tape, Who Will Buy My Memories’. The proceeds of this album sales settled the debt.
