I decided to do a piano instrumental to one of my favorite Christmas songs, Charles Browns' Please Come Home For Christmas. I really look forward to hearing it every year. It really puts you in the Christmas mood! Brown originally recorded this song back in 1960. According to Wikipedia, the song appeared on the Christmas singles chart for nine seasons and hit #1 in 1972. Rock band, the Eagles, has a very popular version of this song. Their version was released in 1978. Other performers such as Willie Nelson, Martina McBride, and Kelly Clarkson have also offered their takes on the song. Charles Brown was born on September 13, 1922 and ultimately passed away in Oakland, California, at the age of 76, on January 21, 1999. Thanks for watching my instrumental version.
