Salwa Abuljadayel
Artist, Equestrian & Creative Advisor
Salwa Abuljadayel is an artist and equestrian whose multidisciplinary journey reflects Saudi Arabia’s cultural evolution. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Emerson College in Boston and a Master’s in History of Art and Archaeology from SOAS, University of London.
Her professional path has included Event Production roles with Live Nation Entertainment and three competitive seasons as an Épée fencer in the UK.
Salwa works in Event Operations at the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, contributing to the world-renowned Saudi Cup since its launch in 2020.
A second-generation horse owner continuing the legacy of her late father, Saeed Abuljadayel, she is deeply involved in equestrian culture.
She also serves as a Creative Advisor at Suraya Productions, collaborating on films including Prostate and Draw Near — selections of the 77th Cannes Film Festival’s Animation Day, the 81st Venice Film Festival’s Production Bridge, and the Oscar Qualifying Long List for 2025.

Kariman Abuljadayel
Olympian, Co-Founder of the Saudi Rowing Federation & Athlete at AlNassr Club
Kariman Abuljadayel made history as the first Saudi female sprinter to compete in the 100m at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
After her groundbreaking debut, she transitioned to rowing, co-founding the Saudi Rowing Federation and leading Team Saudi to multiple international medals, including World Championship victories.
In 2023, she achieved a Guinness World Record for the fastest 10km open-water row.
Continuing to break barriers, Kariman has now entered winter sports as a cross-country skier, signing with AlNassr Club as their first athlete in the discipline — making AlNassr the first Saudi sports club to officially introduce a winter sport.
Kariman holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Northeastern University, and a second master’s in History of Art and Architecture from SOAS.
She has contributed to NEOM as a high-performance advisor and serves as a Creative Advisor at Suraya Productions, her family’s creative firm.
