On February 9th, 1965, Johnny Cash would make his first and only appearance on "The Les Crane Show". This was an innovative nightly show intended to provide entertainment as well as an in-depth look at social issues. A week later, Cash’s friend Bob Dylan made a rare appearance on the program, as well. There is, unfortunately, no footage of this appearance exists as almost all footage from this show was wiped for reuse. Thankfully someone had the foresight to save the audio for the future.
