One amongst 12 siblings of the royal family, the Prince had access to some of the highest standards of education in the world. He studied in England, at Leighton Park School in Berkshire and the Oxford Brookes University in Oxford. He was also enrolled in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England, which has been home to many members of royal families around the world. He became the only royal family member in the world to quit the academy after just one week.Prince Azim received his early eduction at the International School Brunei and later at the Raffles Institution, before attending Oxford Brookes University in the UK.

He was a keen advocate for the arts and creative industries, and championed several causes around youth and people with disabilities.

A seven-day period of mourning will begin today, and all nationals flags will be lowered to half-mast.
Celebrities like Stephanie Beacham, Faye Dunaway, Joan Collins, Aaron Paul and Janet Jackson have all flocked to Azim’s parties with many taking very large celebrity attendance fees. According to Newsweek, Azim, 36, who is fourth in line to the throne of Brunei, regularly hangs out with prominent members of the queer community. In fact, during his birthday party in August 2016, openly-gay skier Gus Kenworthy was in attendance with his boyfriend Matthew Wilkas. Also present at the bash was Caitlyn Jenner, who is arguably the most famous transgender person in the world. The trio even uploaded a picture of them hanging out together at the party on social media, only to quickly delete it after other members of the LGBTQ community lashed out at them for going to the country.
