Old Wisconsin Guy sampling one of his favorite Garth Brooks songs from the album Ropin' the Wind released in early September 1991.

"What She's Doing Now" was the third single from the album and was released as a single in December 1991. It spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.

The singer:
Old Wisconsin Guy is an amateur vocalist at best whose sole musical training is singing karaoke for more than 25 years in bars and bowling alleys. Enjoying the music from decades ago is more important than the quality of the vocals and audio/video production.

For Old Wisconsin Guy, it's about “old guy-ness”, which is more of a state of mind than anything else. It’s just sitting back with your favorite beverage, enjoying old tunes – singing along with them, humming them, or listening to them – and remembering who or what they remind you of.

It’s taking life slower than in your younger days, making more time for the things and the ones you love, and reflecting on your memories and the valuable blessings of today.

So . . . let’s raise a glass to all the Old Guys everywhere! Their numbers are many; hopefully, you have the privilege (or occasional regret LOL!) to have at least one in your life.
