Wild Camping at a Disused Mine on Dartmoor with Ash!

Sometimes planning a hike and camp can go a bit wrong!
For this wild camp on Dartmoor I met up with Ash from West Country Wild Camping, finally! We've been trying to get a camp organised for some months now, so it was great to finally get it done.
All the planning was handled by Ash and that was the start of an adventure that took a little longer than anticipated. It was all good though, despite my seemingly constant ribbing Ash took it well and we had a great time.
We visited the White Lady Waterfall at Lydford Gorge, Brentor Church and finally camped at Wheal Betsy, a very Cornish mine that might have been stolen by Devon.
I got to take a look at Ash's new OEX Bobcat 1 and found myself reasonably impressed, but ultimately put off by it's pack weight.
In the morning we set off dead early and climbed Gibbet Hill, where we later found out was the site upon which local Highwaymen were hanged for their crimes! Spooky.
