In this video I explore an old pumping station and old farmhouse ruins. Nothing much at both sites how ever doing the research for them I found out some interesting info about them both.

Pumping station history

Old pumping station that’s hidden in the woods on the edge of a small town. Built in 1924 to supply drinking water. The pumping station was decommissioned in the 1970s. Since then it’s fallen in into disrepair and is flooded with rusty orange water. There are rumours that it’s locally notorious for satanic rituals taking place as well of stories of a black hooded ghost figure that haunts the area.

Highwayman cottage rumours

There’s no actual historical events that tie to this place and could be just a local legend. I seen someone commented a folklore tale about this place. Apparently the cottage was built and used by a highwayman. He used it as a secluded hideout after robberies. There is also apparently escape tunnels under it as well.
