This is the fourth episode proper of this short running TV show "The Highwayman", which only ran to nine episodes.
This one is called "'Til Death Duel Us Part" and first aired on Apr 1st 1988.

In this episode........
Highway and Jetto travel back in time to 1945, to rescue Tania Winthrop, who has not returned after pursuing a twisted genius who is intent on ending the atomic age before it has even begun....
It is the only episode not to feature Highway's truck - as the rig of "Jetto" is used throughout.
